When attending Meredith Manor I took courses in teaching and theory. These studies set me up with an ability to not just teach someone to ride, but to also be able to tell the student exactly why we ride the way we do. This gives a better, well rounded education for beginner riders and allows them to understand and progress more quickly when they reach higher levels.
